A note on what we learned, and what’s changing
In September we moved to a 6-hour cancellation window and announced late-cancel and no-show fees. What we didn't announce: we held off charging any fees for the first month. We wanted to see what the shorter window would do on its own.
what happened
Late cancels and no-shows dropped by about half. Classes averaged nearly one more person each. Spots that used to sit empty went back to the waitlist in time for someone else to take them. That's you giving us a heads-up the moment plans shift, and it's exactly what we hoped for.
what’s changing
Starting Wednesday, October 14, 2026:
Cancel more than 6 hours before class: keep your class credit, no fee
Cancel within 6 hours of class: your class credit is forfeited, and every late cancel after the first in any 30-day period is charged a $9 fee.
No-show: your class credit is forfeited, plus a $19 fee
why we’re doing it this way
The window did the work, so the late-cancel fee is now only for repeat late cancels. The no-show fee stays, because a reformer nobody cancelled is a spot someone on the waitlist could have had.
Six hours is the shortest cancellation window of any studio in the area, and a first late cancel never carries a fee. We're proud to have the most flexible and considerate late-cancel policy around. Thank you for helping us keep it that way.
